Have stayed in Hotel Montana for 2 weeks of September'08. This hotel is one of the best (if not only one) the city can propose you. Take into account the poor life here and that almost everything is imported so you should not be very demanding as you might be in Miami or Hawai. The hotel itself is located on... more

I was please that the young lady at the check in desk spoke english well... more

My Fiance and I traveled to Haiti, which is my birth home. We have stayed at Montana Hotel. It was wonderfully secure and private. Services were great. Customer service was excellent, the rooms were lovely, colorful and clean and so was the bathrooms. My Fiance who's from Alabama and had never visited Haiti or any other Islands was very impress... more

I stayed at the Montana in March 2008 for one week. Upon arrival I was most impressed with the elegant atmosphere. The check in took a while, because in Haiti you pay for each person who stays in the room. The resturant was beautiful and the food was good. My room appeared clean, however I had to kill two cock... more

If you have to travel to Port-au-Prince, this is the place to stay. I have been to this hotel many times, and it always gets a little better. For this trip, I stayed in a suite. The 2 rooms were extremely ample, well lit, clean, bathroom large with plenty of towels. Bed comfortable, internet speed acceptable, air conditioning strong (... more

The Montana, as noted by others, has beautiful views and is quiet and secluded. The breakfast buffet is good value, and the omelettes are some of the best I've had anywhere. It was a good base of operations for research and business, with plenty of places outside under the trees to sit and hold meetings, have drinks, etc. Internet access... more

This was my first visit to Haiti and I wasn't sure what to expect from the hotel. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was well protected, check in efficient and the room large with a tremendous view. Lunch in the open air restaurant was very reasonably priced, the service good and that standard of food above average. I would... more

I stayed at Montana with my family while on business in Haiti late last year. The staff was great, the food excellent;and the hotel had some of the most breath taking views you'll ever get from any other hotel in Haiti, despite the fact that I stayed there through hurricane "Noel". So why not "Excellent"...right? Well they scored zero in... more

I stayed at the Hotel Montana for 4 nights to attend a business trip in Port Au Prince Haiti. The staff (from the front desk, to the restaurant staff) were all pleasant, willing to provide assistance. Many of the staff speak English, Spanish and French which is great for the many international travelers at Hotel Montana. During my stay there... more
