(14~24th July - 2 Adults + 2 Children 13/15) An interesting trip from the Airport to the hotel, very bumpy roads and a welcome to the lack traffic rules, but that's part of the charm! Arrived at the hotel absolutely exhausted after a delay from Gatwick (nice enough flight, surpising legroom for cattle-class, cheerful flight attendants). After about 5 tries... more

Stayed at Cayacoa from 10/07-24/07 and travelled with First choice but through an independent agent therefore paying substantially less than the brochure price. Had a Junior suite on the 3rd floor of the main block which was very nice. Two double beds, dressing area, bathroom living area, tv, fridge which is restocked with beer and soft drinks, coffee maker and... more

Well where do i start, overall a nice holiday but we would not go back. We had a 4 hour delay from Gatwick due to lighting issues on the plane so by the time we finally got to our hotel we were shattered so grabbed a bite to eat then went to bed. I'l start with the room. Ours was... more

My wife and I stayed in Bahia Principe Cayacoa in DR July 14th to 21st 2008.This hotel was built 1.5 years ago. Just a little bit background about myself and my wife we are frequent travelers and every 3 months we go to Carribiean and have seen a lot of resorts. This hotel was great, it is a real 5 star... more

My wife and paid £550 each through First Choice for two weeks here in May. At that price it was an absolute steal - so no real complaints. Very well appointed hotel; a superb fifth floor sea view room (see pictures), and sunshine for the vast majority of the trip – what more could you want for a bargain basement... more

My girlfriend and I booked a 2 week break to Samana with First Choice at the end of June with the intention of having a peaceful and relaxing holiday... and I’m pleased to say that is exactly what we got. The Cayacoa Hotel is great and really does have all the amenities that you could wish for during a 2... more

My husand, myself and two kids (ages 9 and 6) stayed at this hotel for 1 week at the end of June. We didn't know a lot about Samana but were willing to take a risk. My husband booked this trip via TargetVacations. This was a Bahia Principe Roulette. We were not told till we picked up our tickets which... more

I will start off by saying that we booked this holiday at the last minute and paid less than £700 each for 2 weeks all inclusive. We have paid well over double that for other holidays. There were some complaints at the hotel, mainly about the Restaurants. I agree that the a'la carte restaurants could be improved. The International was... more

Title says it all was the best holiday we have ever been on. The four of us went to have a relaxing break which is what we got. Staff were so friendly the hotel and surroundings were stunning. Food was also excellent the buffet catered for everyone and the 3 a la carte restaurants were fantastic. The entertainment staff are... more
