The place is a dump. Having traveled the Caribbean, US and Europe, I've seen a lot and stayed in various types of lodging. This place is gross. Why they spent money on building a separate hotel when they could've refurbished this one I'll never know. The rooms remind me of military barracks or an old college dorm. Yes, they are... more

I stayed at the Barbados Beach Club Family Resort which is the new wing across a quiet road from the main hotel. - A 3 minute slow stroll. We used the pool at the family resort, which felt like our own private pool as the majority of other guests used the pool at the main hotel or the beach. Rooms... more

Booked this holiday through virgin and was expecting great things. Wrong, the hotel was next to a building site. The kids club never opened its doors in the fortnight we were there. The gym was in such a poor state ( not one piece of equipment that was not broken) it was unuseable. The food was ok but was limited... more

I was really sceptical about staying at the BBC from the mixed reviews. To my surprise, I left pleased. It's a 2 1/2 or 3 star hotel. Nothing more, nothing less. With the hotel only being 6 miles from the airport, this is one of those times were it makes sense to catch a cab ($16US). I was able to... more

This is a hard review to write because I have mixed feelings about our trip. My wife and I escaped work for a week via a fabulous deal I'm told is subsidized by the Barbados govt during the low season. Everything was included - airfare, transportation to/from airport, three meals a day plus tea, and of course lodging - for... more

My wife and I stayed here for the first two weeks of September in the Family Resort. Nice room, hotel kept very clean by the staff but road between the main hotel and the Family Resort very rough and some speeding cars. There is a pool in both hotels but they are small and usually full of very loud children... more

Booked via Cheaptickets. No problem with them, other than Johnson Group on Barbados end, they did not show when scheduled and did not bother to call. The concerige desk called and got us a reschedule time. BBC Resort - pool is SMALL and when you add screaming kids - not nearly adequate. Beach and pool close at 6 pm and... more

My husband and friends vacated at the BBC during the 1st week of Sept 2008. Whilst there, all members of staff were very courteous and helpful however my only problem was that housekeeping sometimes came at weird hours of the day to clean which pretty much inconvenienced us to some point and during lunch and dinner when drinks were ordered,... more

My fella and me stayed here !6th august 2008 for 2 weeks. We stayed in the family wing, big mistake. The room was clean, a bonus, but we found it very basic, The food was disgusting, deep fried bacon at breakfast, full of grease and it was put out everyday in the same dirty tray wether eaten or not, fresh... more

It was a nice stay at BBC, the staff were all excellent, food was great also. However, in my room there was a major problem especially considering the place was overall hot. But the aircondition was not blowing properly. However, the staff fixed that problem for me. Overall i'd rate my stay as pretty darn good, if you happen to... more
