I have been to many different Islands as well as Hawaii........nothing can compare to the island of Anguilla........we stayed at Ku Hotel on Shoal Bay East , by far the most beautiful beach I have ever seen...........I am in the hospitality industry so of course I can be very critical of places I visit..........the staff were very polished and professional..........our... more

We arrived at the Ku and were promptly greeted with a warm welcome from Tonesha and our rum punch and off to our room. I was thoroughly impressed with the Ku last year, but had recently read some recent negative reports on tripadvisor.com that had me a bit concerned. The hotel grounds are well maintained, not as beautifully landscaped as... more

Ku is located on one of the best beaches in the world, so the location of Ku is terrific. The beach is uncrowded, with soft white sand, and beautiful, clear, and calm water. Sunsets are there every night as well. Snorkeling is good. Beach walks and viewing the night stars are great. The value for the money at Ku is... more

We spent our honeymoon in July, 2007 at Cap Juluca and had an incredible experience, so we decided to return to the island for our first anniversary and stay at Ku (since our budget wasn't quite as big this year!). Overall, we thought the hotel was fine but not great. Cap Juluca cost an extra $200 per night and it... more

We happened upon Ku Hotel while we were searching for a destination wedding site. Our requirements were a great beach, enough rooms for our party and to be able to have the wedding, dinner/reception on-site. The hotel has 27 rooms and our party took up 16 of those. All contact via phone and email with Shelder, Yvonne and Chef Deon... more

We stayed at Ku for 4 nights during our honeymoon. First, the beach is gorgeous. White sand and calm water make for great swimming and sunbathing. We were never bothered by peddlers, and for the off-season there seemed to be plenty of umbrellas and lounge chairs. Our suite was huge with a full kitchen, patio and a view of the... more

My husband and I spent a week at Ku. It was our first visit to Anguilla. I am quite dismayed at the overly negative comments here. This is by no means a run down hotel. It is a mid-priced, very small property that shows wear and tear at the end of the season. Superficial repairs like door painting, fixing chipped... more

I booked our vacation back in January through internet and website research....sometimes we prefer 3-star if it's on the nicest beach of an island. We love Jolly Beach in Antigua because of the location... It is similar to that except Ku isn't all-inclusive. You have to buy every meal and if you're familiar with Anguilla you know the cost of... more

I'm still undecided about Ku. We went during high season, in January of this year, and thank goodness it wasn't for a special occasion. My fiance and I love the Caribbean and we are frequent travelers. When planning this trip, I was trying to find a hotel that was really nice yet affordable. I did know that Anguilla is an... more

I liked Ku but i didn't love it..and if i had paid high season rates,I would have hated it. We arrived a day late..THANKS,USAIR,but the reception staff was very gracious. We were directed to one room but when our "bellman" entered it, it was OCCUPIED!! We hightailed it out very quickly but I kept thinking..Geez, someones else's room! They put... more
