This August was our second stay at Camp Denali, and it confirmed our first experience: outstanding staff, outstanding place. The mission of Camp Denali, to provide opportunity to experience wildlife and appreciation for the natural world, is accomplished in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Unhesitating recommendation. more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the North Face Lodge. The guides and cooks are shared with Camp Denali. We chose North Face Lodge over Camp Denali because it had indoor plumbing and electricity. The rooms are basic but have been spruced up a bit and are well cared for. The staff is terrific, very willing to help and educate.... more

This is a great place to stay for a lot of reasons. There are only a few places you can stay in the back country of Denali and we chose this one because it is smaller and because they have access to hiking in the park. We chose North Face lodge over Camp Denali (same owners) because the bathrooms are... more

This is by far the most expensive place in which i have ever stayed and even though it was a stretch for me to stay there I would do it again in a heartbeat. The rooms are pretty basic but better than similar park lodges at which my wife and I had stayed before. The food was excellent. The guided... more

Stayed here for 3 nights in the second half of August, and managed to see the park in sun, rain and snow. The staff overall was wonderful, and the food surprisingly delicious given how far you are from supplies. Since the drive in/out is so long, I would suggest staying 4 nights to give you one more day in the... more

We have stayed at this property twice now and this time came with two grand children. The site of the camp is ideal: near an active beaver lodge, near Wonder Lake, near the former mining town of Kantishma, and in site of Denali. The lodge has a bus trip in and out of the park on Friday and Sunday, so... more

The August 23 review gives a good description, so I won't duplicate that. I'd just like to second what the reviewer said - the staff are wonderful! They are not just knowledgeable about the "charismatic megafauna" everyone comes to see - our guides were excellent birders, knew almost all plants down to species for those interested in the scientific names,... more

At the end of the road in Denali National Park wilderness, is a wonderful lodge. The main lodge, which contains the dining room, sitting room, and library is beautiful and very tastefully done. There is a very large fireplace, which welcomed and warmed us when we came in during a rain storm, and large comfortable furniture, and wonderful books to... more
