I stayed here for 4 days during the first week of September, 2007. The desk staff was courteous, helpful, and fluent in English. My Studio apartment was roomy and had all kinds of amenities I didn't expect. (The highlight was the automated BATHTUB!) After all the hotels I had stayed in during my trip, it was great to be someplace... more

It's a really bargain!! In a hearth of nightlife of Roppongi an huge room with all amenities. The room was big than a japanise standard and offers really all conforts. I think that the roppongi mansion it is a best place to stay in Tokyo!! more

Stayed at the Oakwood Appartments in August in a 1 bedroom appartment. Excellent accommodation, plenty of space, good place to chill out after long days sightseeing around Tokyo. Very helpful people on the front desk. 5 minute walk to Rippongi crossing. I think we must have had the same taxi driver as a previous reviewer, as our taxi driver found... more

I stayed there for eight days in April. It's perfectly central and perfectly situated for the underground. It's immaculately clean, beautifully stocked and presented. The staff are very friendly and professional. When you get in to your own apartment, you kick off your shoes and all is well with the world. Not too small, not too big, clean, modern, no... more

Our first taxi driver had a hard time finding the place, but you will come to see that most places in Tokyo are very difficult to find, even amongst the locals. Oakwood is in a great location, with a three min. walk to the Subway, convenience stores, restaurants, bars, etc. The room was huge (by Tokyo standards) and very modern,... more

We stayed at Oakwood Roppongi Central Apartments in April 2007 for one week. We contact the Apartments directly as we we wanted to have three people in a studio apartment. They were more than happy to accommodate our requests. The studio apartment was beautiful. All the furnishings were tastefully chosen and quite new. There was ample room for an extra... more

All of the previous posts are accurate. We spent 5 days in Tokyo, have just returned from 18 day Japan trip. We loved the place, very helpful staff, and we thought the location excellent. We were out all day seeing the sights, so were pretty tired and did not want to go across Tko to eat. Lots of great restaurants to... more

Place/Location - Excellent. It's close (walking distance @ 5 minutes) to Roppongi Hills and the newly opened Tokyo Midtown (March 2007) for shopping, food, and access to Metro Subway (Oedo Line - has an elevator in front of Midtown, especially useful if you bring strollers and Hibiya Line - no elevator, so you have to carry the strollers through a... more

Perfect! My husband, two college-age sons and I stayed at the Oakwood Apartments Roppongi Central over Christmas and it was wonderful. Front desk service was on par with any high-end hotel. (see story below) Had a 2 bedroom apartment that looked out at the Tokyo Tower. Very sophisticated decor, extremely comfortable king-size bed, full kitchen, washer/dryer, and state of the... more

The aparments are excellently located less than 5 minutes walk from Roppongi station. Party lovers are a short stroll away from the action. The apartments are clean, spacious and very comfortable with all the amenities you need. If you're here for a short or extended stay in Tokyo then look no further. more
