We went to Paradise Cove for Sunday dinner July 20. We were hungry when we were picked up at the Sheraton and it got much worse when we were told dinner would be two hours after we arrived. We were now a large captive audience for some crafts but drinks were pushed and pushed as well as junk jewelry and... more

...Seriously, I'm actually surprised by the REALLY negative reviews. Having read them, my friend and I were concerned that we were going to be disappointed, but since we couldn't get in to the Hale Koa (not military or able to befriend one on short notice), the Royal Hawaiian (closed for remodelling this year) and seriously scared of Germaine's we figured... more

Nothing about this Luau was worth us paying over $400 for the 5 of us. We went there end of June to experience some Hawaiian culture but low and behold! What we got was a dud. The food wasn't good, tasteless ( I could have done a better job), the show was cheezy and being around alcoholics doesn't appeal to... more

Okay, so I don’t know what happened the night the people who wrote the last reviews went, but we had a great time. We were on our honeymoon and wanted something special. First thing, it is a 45 min. bus ride to the luau from Waikiki. But we had time to talk to other people on the bus. Cousin Bill... more

Very expensive and just not a whole lot of value. The food was passable and the show was okay. For $75 a person, I expected the service and food to be on par with a decent restaurant, but it felt more like the Golden Corral. The guys throwing the fire around were interesting, but not much else was. I'm not... more

We were really disappointed by this Luau. We had been warned by friends not to bother with commercial Luaus but we thought we'd give it a shot. We asked around for the best one and this was recomended to us. The actual location is about a 40min bus journey from Wakiki and is a beautiful setting. Very aptly named. However...... more

This is the fourth Luau I have been to. I enjoyed the first three (one in Kauai and two in Maui) over the last 20 years of coming to Hawaii. My relatives I am traveling with had not been to a Luau before and our Hotel said Paradise Cove was great. The food was terrible, chicken was cold and dry,... more

To be fair, we were rained out, and did recieve our money back. I am grading them on their professionalism- Not that good. They have some art and crafts before the show and they are hokey at best. Making leis, rowing a canoe, how to tie a sarong, etc. and they all take about 10 minutes, but you get over... more

We both had a great time at Paradise Cove. It started a little hokey, but once the show started we had a good time. The food was amazing, MUCH better than I had expected and I even enjoyed the poi. Cousin Bob was our server and did a great job. The show was a lot of fun and the MC... more

I live on Oahu, I have grown up in Hawaii; I have been to all of the touristy shows and luaus offered on our island everytime I have guests come. This is absolutely the worst experience ever; an embarrassment to Hawaii and my community. I made the mistake of choosing this venue because I had never been to it, and... more
