I absolutely loved touring the missions! I used my own vehicle to drive to each one, much better than a tour bus as I was able to stay as long as I wanted in each location. The Missions are a must see if you are in San Antonio, But I would suggest that you schedule a tour, as the bus does not go to all of the Missions. Wow, what a wonderful way to step back into history. I highly recommend watching the short film about the missions offered by the park. It was truly an amazing production and gives you a real good understanding about the missions. Initially, I didn't want to watch the film.
