My husband and I walked here the day we walked King William Historic District. The gardens are nice and the tower gives you a great view of all of San Antonio. We did not want to do the movie because you could hear it everywhere in the building you walked and I was afraid it would be to loud. Going... more

The giant wooden playscape in the middle of HemisFair Park was amazing! Our children (age 2 and 3,) just went crazy over it. We went early on a Saturday morning and had the whole park to ourselves! The giant wooden structure has multiple swings, slides and towers and is large enough to keep any child entertained for a good length... more

The playground at Hemisphere Park is a wooden fort. At one time, I am sure that it was really first rate. However, a number of the original features were in disrepair. Nevertheless, my children enjoyed it. more

We only did 2 things at Hemisfair Park: checked out the playground, and went up the Tower of the Americas. Visited on 5/3/2005. Playground is all wood, has several activities for the kids.
