I really enjoyed seeing Mt. Rushmore. It is amazing and I was very impressed! I also recommend spending sometime looking around at the exhibits. I was shocked to see how workers scaled down the side of the mountain to sculpt the President's faces....It's a scary job! Maybe because we are not American, but it was a bit of a let down. It looks so huge on films etc. Don't get me wrong I still think it was great achievement for its time. It was just smaller than we thought. Glad to have gone but wouldn't bother again. more

Mount Rushmore was fabulous. We got there pretty early in the morning, so it wasn't crowded yet, which was nice. Make sure you bring cash, though, since parking is $10 and they only accept cash.
