this is one of the most unique places you will ever visit. a startling reminder of the punishing landscape and history of el paso, the concordia cemetery is tragic and gorgeous at the same time. do not visit in the summertime heat, however, unless you have a hat and water--it can be brutally hot. watch for prairie dogs, hawks, snakes,... more
