Hands down my favorite place in the city is Central Park. There are so many lawns to hang out on, toss a frisbee, play a pick up game of wiffle ball, or even to spread out and have a picnic! I feel like you always run into people you know and it's perfect for these summer days. The best people... more

We spent a day in Central Park and had a great time. We did a carriage ride that was not worth the money for the short ride. However, our driver was great and gave us tips on things to do and see while in Central Park. We ate at the Boat House and the food and service were excellent. It... more

It isn't until you see it that you realize how amazing Central Park is. The fact that it is in the middle of the city is incredible, but the beauty inside of it is fantastic. There is also a beautiful park in Boston designed by the person who designed Central Park. You must stroll through Central Park. A great way... more

We spent a few hours in Central Park watching some ballgames and just chilling out - in that respect its much like any other public park. But... you can also hire row boats and row around the lake for about $12 an hour so we did that and had some good, clean, splashy fun! If you feel like it you... more

Last week we spent some time at NY on vacations and I have to say that Central Park was the best of all. This place is a must for every one travelling to NY, and even more if you're visiting lots of places like Museums and buildings since at some point you might get tired of being surrounded by high... more

I won't go into detail about everything that you can see or do in Central Park as I think this would spoil the experience. Most people who visit NY will visit Central Park at some point as it's one of the things everybody knows about the city. It is a lovely place to stroll, relax, have a picnic, play sports... more

We loved our movie location walking tour of Central Park! You are met a by a guide at Columbus Circle for the 2 hour tour. Our guide shared loads of information about the history of the Park as well as all the movies that have been filmed there. Since it was our first trip to NYC it was so much... more

My view of Central Park is not of an oasis in the middle of of a city, I have walked through it many times. I do not always go into the park while visiting, but I will suggest it is a place you will like and should visit. more

Spent a day up around central park (went to Museum of Nat. History then Central Park zoo) and it was nice to get away from the hustle of the Times Square area. We started at the Museum, walked over to CP, and headed up to the reservoir. Walked around that to the other side of the park, then down to... more

We were fortunate to be in new york during the snow storms on february 22 because i'd always dreamed of seeing central park in the snow. I have to say i was not disappointed by the sheer beauty of this place from where we entered on the 59th street until we got to the museum of natural history on 82nd.... more
