We were visiting San Diego while on a family vacation and decided to check out the U.S.S. Midway! It was awesome! It is interesting for all ages. My 5 yr. old and 12 yr. old both loved it. Some of the stairways are narrow and steep, so wear a good pair of tennies! more

Very interesting! Lots of things to do. You can get a "tour guide" which is basically an mp3 player with all the information so you can go at your own pace. The "tour" goes through everything you would do if you were on the carrier at wartime. Very fun and a must see if you are in the area. more

We took our 6 year old daughter to the Midway, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a good mixture of information, hands on exhibits, and talks. The audio tour was excellent and easy to use. The USS Midway isn't your typical big boat tour. The ship is fascinating along with the accompanying history. It certainly is amazing to see all of the different sections and learn about how they worked together to make this a truly functioning city.
