Visited the Children's Museum this past spring with my son, a friend, and her son. We all had a blast! Plenty to see and do! Very interactive which is great for kids. They climbed, jumped, watched, built, and even sang. By the end of our 5 hour trip they were exhausted but still didn't want to leave. Us adults even... more

We were here over this past weekend with two toddlers (3 and 4), and we had a blast. It was very busy and crowded, but IMO the museum is laid out VERY well so you are not constantly on top of other patrons. The kids had so much fun with the interactive and hands-on exhibits (i.e the bubbles!). Restrooms were... more

We visited the museum on a Tuesday and found that they had decided to close a few hours early for a private event of some kind. We only had about 25 minutes before they asked everyone to leave. It was a nice museum though with what seemed like a very diverse group of activities for kids from about 3 to... more

This museum was recently redone with about 42 million being sunk into it and it shows! The spot sits on the water near the south Boston redone wharfs and the spot is now redeveloped and has all kinds of restaurants and stores around the area. The place is full yinterative with all hands on for all ages, I would say... more

Spent 3 hours here with my 3 year old son. Great range of activities - everything was of interest to him, from the bubble activities to the preschool play area. Lots of attention to amenities such as family bathrooms and sinks for washing hands next to messy play areas. Easily worth multiple visits. The Au Bon Pain restaurant in the... more

I have a 4 yr old and a 1 yr old, and they both loved the Boston Children's museum. We went on a Monday afternoon, and it wasn't crowded at all. My 4yr old liked the Arthur room the best, and they have a infant/toddler room for kids under 3 that was great for my little one. If you aren't... more

LOVED IT! Visited with our children, both under 6 years of age, and they had a blast. Admission was very reasonable. We visited on a Sunday morning as soon as it opened and the crowds were fair - moderate. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip for our youngsters, won hands down over the Aquarium. Great! more

This is a great interactive museum and one of the best deals I have ever seen. On Friday nights admission is only $1. There were three levels packed with fun and entertaining activities. The current music exhibit was one of our favorites, as were the art studio and workbench areas. more

We visited the museum yesterday and really enjoyed it. According to the conceirge where we stayed it just reopened after some remodeling. We walked from the Financial district which was a bit of a walk, but easy to find, despite lots of construction in that area. The attached Au Bon Pain offered refreshing lunch and snack choices. The museum looked... more

We go so frequently, that we became members! Our six year old son never grows tired of visiting the museum. The museum has wonderful programs for children of all ages...including a child discovery center with an infant/toddler space and the science on the playground exhibit. Everything is hands-on for curious minds. more
