This is a great place to take the kids. We like to pack a picnic lunch and eat across the street in Hermann Park. In the museum, my kids especially like the dinosaur and mineral exhibits, the planetarium, IMAX theatre, the earth fountain in the courtyard, and the gift shop. We've seen the special exhibits too and the kids really... more

Natural history museum was interesting but quite expensive if you want to do anything more than the basic museum tour. Plan on spending around a $100 for a family of three if you want to see even two of the other exhibits. more

I will say the only down side was the lack of bathroom facilities and the overcrowding in the special exhibit... more

There are some extra skeletons & fossils & some interactive toys (hype) but the musuem already has a large permanent dino exhibit that is very... more

We went into the planetarium and saw star gazing. It was an interesting program in which we learned all about the constellations of the stars in our solar system. We also learned about our planets. After that, we went into the butterfly exibit and they were everywhere! We even had the experience of watching them come out of their cacoons!... more
