I recently attended a Rodeo and a family play day at the Tejas Rodeo facility. Being a native of the area, it absolutely astonished me that such a wonderful place was hidden only 15 minutes from my home in North San Antonio and I never knew it. We discovered the Tejas Rodeo Company on tripadvisor, and are very glad we found it. Bulverde is about 1/2 hour north-west of San Antonio. Before the rodeo started we enjoyed some fabulous BBQ from Cibolo Smokehouse and Saloon. For only $7.50 we had a BBQ plate with beef brisket, cream corn, potato salad and bread. The food was great.
