Mud Island is an interesting site for the tram ride ($6 tram/museum for seniors) and the museum was very interesting, well done. Just don't plan to eat there. Kids will love this place. Take the funky Monorail over to Mud Island and go into the Museum. There is a huge reproduction of a paddlewheeler inside. 7/29/06 visited Mud Island. Note it closes at 6pm, not at 8 which is what the brochures say. You can take the short monorail ride over for $2 or just drive over yourself.
