We have to agree with all the other reviews of this one-of-a-kind Museum! A 'must see' museum with the largest wooly mammoth skull and tusks in the world, as well as magnificent ancient jewelry & much more. There are several dinosaur items, including a unique fossilized 'baby' dinosaur. The presentation and documentation is first rate. The museum is in an... more

We decided to stop here because it was raining lightly as we set off on our drive around the Dingle Peninsula. What a find! We were greeted by Eddie, the tall, smiling host who ushered us in. The collection is like an Enlightenment Age sitting room, with fossils and human artifacts ranging from dinosaur eggs to neolithic stone tools and... more

It was altogether a delightful experience, with quite a lot of artifacts set out nicely. The friendly owner is... more

An excellent museum. Very well presented in chronological order, from very early pre-history through paleo- meso- and neo-lithic ages to bronze age and iron age. The artifacts are of breath-taking quality and well interpreted. This exhibit far outshines the examples from this era presented in the British Museum. more

The items are displayed superbly and described concisely appealing to enthusiasts as well as the merely curious. The learning is painless and over way too soon. The replication of the ancient cave paintings is remarkable. Thankfully this highlight was recommended to me by a friend... more

On a whim, my wife, 3 kids, and myself stopped in at this museum. We all consider it to be the most bizarre and best thing we saw on our whole trip around Ireland! This place has everything: the largest wooly mammoth skull and tusks in the world, a large and beautiful ancient Celtic jewelry collection, stone age, bronze age,... more
