The Dakota Zoo may be considered a tiny zoo (especially if your from a larger metropolitan area). We took our six-year-old and one-year-old (at the time) to the zoo and only spent around 2 hours there. This zoo is nearly all outdoors, so, keep this in mind if the weather is inclimate. more

For a city the size of Bismarck, the Dakota Zoo is a real gem. It is constantly expanding and modernizing with nice habitats for the animals and good variety. more
