I am writing a review to make sure this stays the number one attraction in Chicago. In the five days I spent in Chicago I enjoyed this the most. The tour is not all about food you also get to see a different side to Chicago including where Frank Sinatara used to sing and the original playboy mansion. I would... more

This tour is a great way to soak up the culture, people, history & food. I now know why people love to live in Chicago. Our tour guide Kent was so informative, upbeat & animated that I cannot wait to take his WICKER PARK tour. The tour began with food tasting & then we walked hearing about the rich history... more

This walking tour was terrific! It was a wonderful way to see some spots that I otherwise would have missed. The food shops were unique and the guide was fun and energetic. I would highly recommend! more

What a fun tour! How can you beat learning about some great neighborhoods while tasting food? Word of advice - wear your comfortable shoes. You will do quite a bit of walking. more

I highly recommend this tour. Our guide was one of the most friendly people I have ever met, and she had A LOT to say about the city and its history. Along with amazing food, we were able to learn so much more than if we were to do the typical Magnificant Mile trip. I will say that there is... more

Worth every penny, this was a 3 hour walking tour you can book http://www.zerve.com/ChicagoFoods/CFTour. $40 pp gave us 8 stops to eat and sample all sorts of cuisine as well as get some history of the city. This isn't a "touristy" tour. My wife and I really did have great time and felt like we were going to places that... more

We just got back from the Chicago Food Tasting and Walking Tour. We had a great time! We have visited Chicago many times but feel this tour really gave us a chance to visit the neighborhoods and taste the neighboorhood tastes of Chicago. The two mile walking and tasting was filled with different locations and flavors. We learned a lot... more

I have taken bus tours, bike tours and boat tours in Chicago but this is by far the best tour I have ever taken. There is no better way to spend a beautiful day than to leisurely walk some of the most premiere neighborhoods Chicago has to offer. The food tastings were spectacular and very unique. Plus, it was more... more

Took the tour on 8/6/08 with guide emily. Had a great time. Learned alot about site in three chicago neighborhoods. Playboy mansion, Oz park, Cabbage patch, etc. Our hotel was pretty close to the Michigan Ave shopping distract and it was nice to get away from that mess. Browsed several amazing shops. Oil and Vinegar and Spice shop were my... more

My husband and I took the tour July 17, 2008. The day was hot and humid. Emily, the guide, made the tour enjoyable. She was well-informed, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the tour. The best food was Bacino Pizza and the most filling. Although I did enjoy the oil and spice shops, I don't think the Food Tour name represents the... more
