We visited Universal and Islands of Adventure in May 08. Universal was great, my family really enjoyed the Simpsons ride, although I wish they arranged the TV's a bit better when you are waiting in line, you couldn't always view them. The Horror Make Up Show was excellent - 1st class entertainment, my 9yr old was a bit worried but... more

Visited Universal Studios over the July 4th holiday staying at Pacific Royal Hotel. We decided to go to Citywalk to view the fireworks that had been advertised on the television as "the best in central Florida". WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT!!. My family and about 3,000 people arrived at CityWalk early for a good seat and waited for a fireworks display that... more

There is no comparison to Disneyworld! The rides at both Universal parks seemed to have trouble staying up and running. After waiting 45 minutes in a line it was not good news to hear that the ride is having technical trouble. The layout of the parks is not user friendly and crowds seemed even more noticeable. Plan an waking alot... more

We visited Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure for three days in June 2008. The first day was a Thursday at Universal Studios. Crowds weren't too bad. The longest we waited was about 45 min. with the average wait around 20 min. Friday was day 2 at Islands of Adventure. Crowds were horrible. There were several 'bus tour' groups. Between... more

We recently visited in May 2008 with our grandchildren. We were very turned off by the extra fee for the express pass and really didn't have the extra money included in our budget so we waited in the regular lines for every ride. My grandchildren didn't understand why others walked right up and got on the rides while we had... more

Friday is the day of the week to go to Universal. We enjoyed all of the attractions. THE SIMPSONS- Replacing back to the future. I thought it was sort of dumb, not... more

My 11 year old daughter just wasn't into it...she didn't get all the "old" (as she called them!) movie references. We didn't stay long, but I will be back with my girlfriend someday...she would appreciate it more. more

Dining at the Lombardi Grill was better than expected. Grab the web only special tix for entry into both parks. You can't beat an entire week at both parks for only $85 and get Citiwalk (Universal's version of Pleasure Island) as well. If you know your wife or significant other is going to drag you out for dancing atleast once,... more

Universal Studios is a lot of fun! I think it's a blast for all ages. Even though it's a little more money, I suggest everyone buy the Express Pass. It's so worth it. For every ride it was less than a 5 minute wait. Some rides we just walked right on. In my opinion the meal deal tickets were a... more
