I love going to California, especially Orange County and L.A. The shopping for all the right brands makes Fred Segal a sure stop, and other stores on Robertson and some on Melrose like Maxfield are awesome. Marc Jacobs just opened on Melrose, and Paul Smith is coming too...Orange County has some upcoming shops, one of my favorites was a shop... more

i love fred segal, even though i could never buy anything there! the staff seemed pretty cool, but it felt like everyone was looking at each other, like "is that a celeb?" or something. the prices are outrageous but the clothes are sooo fab!! oscar de la renta and ross herman, very cute stuff. i saw a $2100 tank top... more

Fred Segal is the epitome of an L.A. boutique. They have a great selection of up-and-coming avante garde designers as well as some tried and true veterans. The prices are steep, so if you're looking for a deal, this isn't your kind of store. They have separate men's and women's sections, children's, home, and a small beauty section. The Santa... more

I do not agree with the other review I see posted here about bad service.... Fred Segal is my favorite place to shop in America (Santa Monica location is better than Melrose).... and I have ALWAYS found the staff to be friendly and helpful; but then again, I'm friendly and have a good attitude. Fred Segal had the best selection of avant guarde clothing! I even shopped next to Kelly Osbourne when I was there! The Fred Segal in Santa Monica is bigger, and has Fred Segal Beauty..as opposed to the smaller boutique on Melrose. more

Fred Segal on Broadway in Santa Monica, is probably one of my favourite places to shop. Many of the clothing and accessories you will find at Fred Segal are designed by local designers.
