Vailima, the plantation house that Robert Louis Stevenson built overlooking Apia in 1890, has been wonderfully restored. The people who funded this restoration deserve major credit, because it's a beautiful building that now houses many of RLS's works, his step-daughter's drawings and, what appear to be, excellent reproductions of the furniture and room layouts from RLS's time.
