This is another beautifully preserved temple dating to around 967AD The Citadel of Women has intricate carvings that will take your breath away. The ruins are minature compared to Angkor Wat, but this little gem hidden in the jungle about 20 miles from Angkor, is worth the visit. Go first thing in the morning before it is too hot and... more

Benteay Srei, Citadel of Women, will remain my favorite in Siem Reap. A temple dedicated to Shiva. It is totally managable as an afternoon excursion because of its intimate size.
