Well, this was an interesting stop on our road trip in Minnesota. We planned to visit the museum -at first it was more of a joke then we checked out the website (they make fun of themselves a lot) and became more interested in going. Just one of those things, you are driving for what seems to be forever ... and then you see the sign ... "Spam Museum." How could anyone not stop??? It was so much -- from Spammy the mascot to the thousands of cans of spam on the wall. If you miss this, then might as well miss the Eifel Tower. more

The Spam Museum in Austin MN was one the highlights of our recent visit (July 07) to Minnesota. Once we learned of the museum, we had to go and it did not disappoint at all. It was free, clean, informative, and fun. Granted, it's not the Getty or MoMA but it's still worth the 90 minute drive from St. Paul.... more
