We took a taxi up the peak and took the tram back down. The tram ride was worth doing. The top of the peak has a shopping mall, so you'll need to walk through to get to the best view. There's a great terrace on top of the mall where you'll have the best unobstructed view of the city. more

It's a phenonmenal view from the top, but it's also a spectacular tram ride up, as you wind up the steep mountainside, catching glimpses onto high-rise penthouse gardens along the way.
