having visited the Giraffe centre many times, I would recomend a visit to anyone going to Nairobi, it was a few minutes walk from where I used to stay in Langata and I went most days. its fun for all who visit the giraffe centre...not only for the tourists who can feel what a giraffes tongue is like and look at them straight in the eye but also for local residents - entrance fee is very reasonable .. its exciting and educational for children as well! it is not a full days outting ...but 2 hours... more
Not far outside of Nairobi, the giraffe center is a wonderful place to begin or end your Kenyan adventure!
