We came here after not being able to get into the 10 am tour of the parliment. The price was a bit high, 1600 Ft for a basic adult admission. I have found the visit to Synagogue an interesting way to learn more about Jewish culture. Our guide gave some interesting explanations not only in the building but also on the historical background of Jewish culture in Budapest during last half and a Century. beautiful grand building which was restored in the 1990's they built the museum next to the synagogue and spent a lot of money making sure the new building was built to match the existing synague so you cannot tell it was built in recent years the guide books say it closes on sundays at 2pm which is not true so... more
