The best part of the Aquarium in Napier is the underwater walkway, which winds around as fish, sharks and other sea creatures swim above and around you. Other than that, the museum was a little pricey for its offerings. more

No longer is the aquarium "tired-looking" or rundown. The money that they have spent in upgrading this place was worth every penny. A space-age like building (although does not fit into the art deco theme), is an icon in itself along the beachfront. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend.
