We have just spent the weekend in Canberra ... you may think a weekend isn't long, but we crammed a lot into it, and our first stop Saturday morning was Cockington Green ! I had read the reviews and googled it - but it was far better than what we had expected ! ... ... the small village is amazing... more

While searching the net for things to do in Canberra, I found a site which lists Cockington Green. It was not listed in most sites and tourist brochures, so was relatively unknown. Cockington Green Gardens is a really pleasant destination for tourists visiting Canberra.There is something there for all ages, from the little train which circumnavigates the gardens and extensive play area for children to the many exquisitely mastered miniatures, both in the main area and the International Display area.
