The Statens Museum For Kunst is a huge art museum that occupied three days of my time.It has a splendid collection of Late Gothic and Early Renaissance Italian paintings(Cecci Di Pietro,Ambrogio Lorenzetti,Sebastiano Di Mainardi).It has many fine Flemish and Dutch Master paintings(Frans Hals,Rembrandt,Saendredam).It has a fine collection of Modern Art by leading International Masters(Matisse,Nolde,Braque,Marquet).Especially well-represented in this museum are L.Cranach... more
