In any other city, this church would be a standout superstar, but compared to some of the other famous churches in Florence, it feels like a bit of an also-ran. Nevertheless, I spent a pleasant hour soaking in the art here. Best are the "Tornabuoni Chapel" were Ghirlandaio (and perhaps his student Michelangelo) worked and the "Strozzi Chapel" by Lippi.... more
