In the square in front of Notre Dame Cathedral there is a nondescript set of stairs descending to what appears to be an underground carpark or a subway entrance. In fact it was during excavations to create a carpark here that workers found something very special. The Crypte Archeologique contains the remains of houses dating to the 16th - 18th... more
