The collection is unbelievable for such a small cityand hardly anybody there. gives you plenty of time to examine the works up close. Don't miss it if your in the area. more

I enjoyed this pleasant art museum very much.I saw fine French Naturalist paintings by Flandrin,Leon Bonnat("Job"),Henri Achille Zo,Bougereau,and Jean Rafaelli. Other French painters well-represented were Ingres,Lepicie,Gericault,Charlemagne Oscar Guet,Armand Guillamin("Barges"),and Degas.I also saw fine Spanish paintings by the Valencian Primitive School,El Greco,Ribera,Murillo,and Goya.I also appreciated their fine Rembrandt portrait of a Rabbi and their large collection of small Rubens'paintings.At this splendid... more
