Garnish Island in Glengarriff in west cork is a gorgeous place. We took the Blue Pool ferry there from glengarriff and really loved the amazing views and magical gardens on the island. It's well worth the trip. You can stay in glengarriff, the area is beautiful and people are very friendly, however, there isn't really much else to do in... more

Cost of ferry from Glengarrif € 30 {Two adults+onechild) He allowed the other two children free which was nice. The ferry was pleasant and we saw a lot of seals sunning themselvelves on some rocks. The gardens are delightfull and the children loved exporing the jungle and the Martello tower. The entrance to the park was € 8.75 for a... more
