Went on 3 different day trips with Rabbie's (i.e. Scottish Borders, Highlands & Loch Ness and St Andrews). The guides (Liam and Bob) had been fantastic, fun and helpful! There are also enough comfort breaks during the journeys and they try to stop for photo stops too. Many Thanks to Liam and Bob for making my first trip to Scotland... more

My wife and I booked a 3-day city break in Edinburgh, which included a one-day trip to Loch Lomond and Stirling. I have read in the previous review that Liam used to be a trainee driver. Well if he is the same Liam who acted as our guide, I must say he has learned his lesson pretty well. He was... more

I was so delighted to have chosen Rabbies for the one day trip to Loch Lomand. I had read most of the reviews here and was a bit iffy about the small bus but we had a great day. It was our guide who made it brilliant. They seem to employ the same type of guides. Our man's name was... more

We went on the 2 day tour to Inverness, Glencoe and Loch Ness. We sent most of the days in the bus (16 seater, OK). If you don't like walking or have mobility problems, it's all right. If you would like to view the highlands on foot, we suggest looking into a different tour company. The stops were scarce, usually... more

We took the Loch Ness, Glencoe, and Highlands Tour with Eddie as out tour guide and driver. He was wonderful and was full of great stories and gave the history and facts along the way--we learned a lot & enjoyed the entertainment along the way. Our small group was quiet and attentive and happy to be there despite the fact... more

We booked the Stirling Castle and Loch Lomand tour and had a great time. The small size of the tour group (max 16) made moving from location to location a great approach versus larger tour groups. Our driver/guide was extremely informative, had a "light touch" on keeping to the schedule and overall was a great host for our day trip.... more

We took the Loch Ness, Glencoe, and Highlands tour in July. Our guide was very knowledgeable. However, it;'s a long day! Our tour started around 8:15 and didn't end until 7:00 p.m. It's a long drive out to Loch Ness, so be aware, you will be on the bus for a long time. Also. comfort stops were very short. Lunch... more

We booked the Island Hopping (Western Isles) 8-day tour. The weather was wonderful and we have nothing but praise for the driver/guide and what was provided as far as the 'tour' was concerned - namely getting a quick general feel of the four western islands - Aran, Islay, Mull and Skye. But for us the holiday was ruined by Rabbie's... more

We took the Loch Ness, Glencoe, and Highlands tour in May. Our guide was great, very knowledgeable and courteous. Our tour started around 0815 that morning. It's a long drive out to Loch Ness, so be aware, you will be on the bus for a long time. The great thing about Rabbies is that you will be on a small... more

If you're looking for a tour company while in Edinburgh, choose Rabbie's Trail Burners! We went on 2 tours with Rabbie's - the Loch Ness Monster tour and the Loch Lomond/Stirling Castle tour. Our first tour guide, Ali (short for Alisdair) is a walking/talking history book of Scotland! He knew so much about Scotland, welcomed all questions, and was very... more
