It is a fantastic place to take kids. I am a teenager and I loved it, but it's fabulous for all ages. It is all interactive and so much fun to walk around. It is also very educational. I definitely recommend it for a place to take families! more

This museum is well worth a trip. Thackrays were a Leeds comapny who made surgical instruments and the museum is housed in a redundant wing of St James's Hospital which is about 2.5miles from the centre but with a very frequent bus connection to it.
