The Palace tour is definitely worth doing if you are in London during August or September. It is a bit expensive, but still worth it. One tip is to buy advanced tickets. Yes, it's quite expensive to visit the palace, but absolutely wonderful and well worth it. It's always fun watching the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. However, it's pretty ridiculous having to get there early to get a good spot. Can't miss this English icon especially if it's a 1st trip to London but once you've been too many times, you kinda get over it. I personally much prefer Windsor Castle more

Definitely one of the cooler places I have been to. The palace is very beautiful and there is a lot of history that is well explained with the included audio guide.
