It was our first time....I pictured relaxing, sitting in the sun with a slight breeze. I realized there was alot more to sailing... as the winds were favorable for a good sail. My family of five loved the Eastern Star. I loved the price of $65 for all five of us. The Captain, Merrill was very friendly and informative. I would highly recommend this activity. more

I've been on the Eastern Star many times and looking forward to the next sail. Sailing aboard the Eastern Star is a highlight to our trips to Lunenburg. We loved taking a two-hour sailing trip on the Eastern Star, a 48' sailboat from Lunenburg out to the Ovens Natural Park. The scenery was beautiful, the ship is lovely and the captain (a member of the family that owns the boat and a B & B) was really nice and personable, a good sailor and informative about the area. more
