Decent Resort but what made the pass really worth it was the three FREE lift tickets at Colorado resorts that came with it, now it it just 'half price' days. Very disappointing, give a dog a bone just to take away.... Again very disappointed. more

We found this resort to be perfect for the intermediate skier. Nearly every slope is groomed nightly. The week following Easter (which was 3/23/08) and spring break was a perfect time to ski because of sunny, pleasant days and no crowds- the most we had to wait for a chair was maybe 5 minutes. Signage could be improved as we... more
This was my first time here to ski, the service of all the workers was great! The lifts are in good shape, and everything was first class. I have been to other big resorts but this one will be in the top 3 for sure. I rented skis, poles, and boots and was really impressed with the service at Powder... more
This is not an easy place for beginners. This was the first place that I tried skiing. Ski patrol is very nice and helpful. If you have been snow-skiing before, keep this in mind: not all blue dots are created equal. If you are used to skiing at a small resort in the midwest or southeast, this place will be... more
The snow was non-existent when I came here in January of 2007. But I'm sure these slopes are wonderful when they have good conditions. The view is beautiful & the man-made snow was okay to ski on. Lots of snowboarders... I'm a beginner (I was the slowest skier on the mountain each day) and I managed to fare okay despite... more
Heavenly is the most expensive ski resort I have been to, but if you take your own food and dont have to pay for lessons, good value accomodation at the base areas may make it fairly reasonable. We visited in late season, and the resort had done exeptionally well to keep a decent set of runs open in what had... more
The Heavenly ski resort area had beautful views of Lake Tahoe. Plus there is something for everyone with skiing and the casinos. However, use caution on the runs with thin paths - snowboarders often stop in the middle, so you you will have to stop in order to not hit them. We might return again because of having the casinos... more
The views over Tahoe are unbeatable from the cable car & pretty much most of the mountain. We lacked snow at end of January, but the Heavenly can make it's own so no real issues. We snowboarded, & flats between 2 main ski areas were an issue - or rather cause for tired frustration at end of day! The end... more
We ski each year between Christmas and New Years. This year we chose Heavenly at Lake Tahoe. The mountain was wonderful, great snow, excellent ski school, nice ski staff......what is severely lacking is a resort/ski lodge experience. Once off the mountain, things are not so great. We did not see one wood burning fireplace, no real ski lodges.....it was really... more
Cheap hotels, friendly people and most importantly great skiing! If you are a boarder you might not like it that much as there are some flat sections. Not a lift que in site, just ski down and hop straight on! Views are some of the best around. Snow was plentifull even though it was early in the season. Tree Skiing... more
