The Distillery District is a very nice collection of old buildings. Unfortunately, it isn't very exciting. We went on a summer Saturday afternoon, and found most things to be closed. The area is mostly filled with art galleries, and a few expensive restaurants. Its WAY out of the way from most of the tourist points in the city. I'd recommend... more

Me and my husband loved this. It was a great way to spend a few hours in the afternoon. Often they have great performances going on. It's like a snipit of what you would pay to see at one of the local theatres. Soma, chocolatier was great. The spicy hot chocolate is hard to find, so this was a treat... more

The shopping was minimal because many... more

Maybe it's because we were there when it wasn't summer, so it was kind of a dead place. Most of the shops are galleries and many didn't seem to be open. It's also out of the way from the main part of downtown so unless you're really into art and sculptures, I'd skip this place. more

Such a small area with plenty to do. Art Galleries, shopping and dinning are the main things to do. Open all year round. To see more about this district watch this three minute video at: [---------------] more

This old Distillery complex hosts all kinds of nice little shops, restaurants and galleries. Atmospheric little streets and buildings, good for a diverting couple of hours! more
