The Calgary Zoo is far superior to any zoo I've ever been to. It is extremely large in size and it organizes itself according to theme (Canada, Africa, etc.). The animals were awesome and it is very fun to be there. You can chase birds around the park. Theres big dinosaur statues. And there are many interesting animals. more

Absolutly needed to visit. I was suprised about the quality of the zoo. I spent between 3 and 4 hours. Great Canadian Wildlife section, a lot of animals from all around the world. Staff were great and did provide help. I did visit a lot of zoo all around the world and it's the best one. more

Great place! This is our second time visiting the Calgary Zoo. They have added a couple new buildings in the last few years, and have top-of-the-line animal enclosures now. Highly recommended. more

This is a great Zoo - apparently it has recently been remodeled so everything is looking top notch and very clean. The zoo was well laid out with animals from different continents all in different areas. There are lots of keepers around to show you stuff and the cafeteria was really well done.
