We visited Cozumel just under a year ago, we travelled to the east side (definitely recommended) and stopped at many of the beaches. This is a series of rock formations carved out by the ocean, including a couple of natural bridges. I climbed one of the bridges, which was difficult because there wasn't much flat surface - it was like a huge pumice rock with holes and gouges.
