This seems to be a lesser know site so there were hardly any people when we went on a Saturday. It is located about 2 hours from downtown Mexico City. I loved my visit to Xochicalco. LIke the other post, make sure that you bring some water because it can be very warm and there isn't much shade. Despite the horrific, dry heat the Archaeological Zone of Xochicalco is as impressive as the Aztec Tehutihucan. It is resplendent with its Observatorio used during the Summer Soltice and is found inside a cave.
