We spent a day at Anse Chastanet beach in July 2007. The setting is beautiful - in my opinion, prettier than betwween the Pitons at Jalousie beach. We came to snorkel. The water taxi from Soufreire to divers beqch is quite scary, but then again so is the road/cow path up the mountain. The day at the beach was nice, clean and relaxing for the most part.
