Sitting at the bar talking to people from Holland, Michigan, Germany, Ecuador, New York, with a cold Balashi beer - nothing like it ! You could spend a week looking at all the memorabilia left to Charlie since 1941. Great ambience & clientele - best bar I've ever been in. John Miles Palm Coast, Fl. more

We visited the bar in August 2006. Quite easy to find and they were just opening as we arrived. Very friendly, and lots to look at on the walls ceilings etc etc. Clearly dusting ( !!!?) must be a pain. didn't try the food, but the beer was cold, but way more expensive than any of the more typical aruban... more

Charlie's Bar is a one of a kind old bar in San Nicholas which has catered to Refinery workers for over 60 years; it is an institution; its a good 30 minute drive from the capital and a 20 mintues drive from the airport; very good simple seafood and cold beer / mixed drinks, you will still find a few... more

WE were traveling to Baby beach to enjoy a day of snorkeling.All the way there we kept seeing signs for Charlies bar & grill. If you have ever driven to Myrtle Beach South Carolina you've seen the signs "Pedro says" visit South of the Border.well you know what a disaster that place is ----but you just have to stop and... more
