We took the loop from east headed west. If you go the other way, you get different views. If you have the time, go both ways, or go the other way on your way back home! Nice drive, takes about an hour to an hour and a half, depending on how often you pull off and stop. See my pics!... more

I am amazed that no one has written about this breathtaking drive. It is a cross between the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park. Lots of gorges, canyons then steeples and rugged ridges as well as the extreme of just prarie grasses as far as you can see. You never know what to expect from 1 mile to the next.... more
