This hotel was formerly Amerisuites and has had a complete and beautiful upgrade! My husband travels a lot to San Antonio for work and occasionally I will go with him. When it was Amerisuites the rooms were dark and very drab. Now since Hyatt has taken over it is a whole new place. The rooms are bright, have nice upgrades... more

What a wonderful diversion when you want a change from the Riverwalk. Just pop up on Commerce Street and a wonderful German deli awaits you. While it gets very crowded at lunch we found it delightful at dinner with such German favorites as wienerschitzel and sauerbraten. The German food was really first rate and under $10 per person!
