Tropical Storm Fay

Tropical Storm Fay passed through the Florida Keys and the southwestern coast, causing power outages and scattered damage. The storm has rebounded, and there is a renewed chance that it will develop into a hurricane. There is a tropical storm warning along Florida's east coast, from Jupiter Inlet north to Flagler Beach. A hurricane watch is in effect from Flagler Beach north to Altamaha Sound, Georgia.

Basically, this is the case of people seeing trendy style and being affected by it enough to say the food is good. The non-traditional stuff and the deserts are pretty good, but any traditional kind of fare you can get like a sushi or sashimi platter is seriously lacking. It just lacks freshness. by local "Iy-Talian" standards, mostly set by Carrabas and Burger King, where 'marinara' tastes like ketchup, Manuels is better than most, a refreshing and good bet. Intimate little place, good service, owner seems to care a lot, hopefully food will improve! more

MBC can be great, but hasn't been the last few times we were there. Used to like it, now it reminds us of 706 if you know what that means. Still go to New Deal for burgers once in while and do like that, but the whole complex is starting to wear and fade. more
