A nice dining place with a huge menu!!! more
The three days my wife and I spent at the Chhoti Haveli during August 2008 were delightful and exceeded our expectations. The ambience was very pleasent and we felt very much at home. The facilities were good and the attractive character furniture gives an added lustre. Perhaps the biggest attraction is the genuine warmth of the of the "Inn Keepers",... more
Saubhag serves as an incredible respite away from the busy city of Delhi. Meera has three rooms for guests in her incredible home. Two rooms are upstairs and share a living room (with free internet) and kitchen. They are very private and very, very well kept. This would be ideal for a group of travelers. Our first night at Saubhag... more
I personally find Karim's to be the most overhyped restaurant in Delhi. While the Kebabs are certainly very good the rest of the food is just terrible. Curries are knuckle deep in oil and have a decayed, bland taste to them. You can get kebabs of almost the same quality with far superior curries in other eating places in the... more
spent 4 nights at the Metropolitan and enjoyed every moment. My room (renovated on on the 4th floor) was spacious, clean and well equipped. Service was great (even when I ran out of mineral water at 1AM) and the staff was very attentive, polite and eager to assist. They have a no-tips policy which is great. Breakfast is good with... more
Anyone who has been to Delhi knows that it's hectic...well this hotel will give you a pleasant retreat. All the staff were very helpful and courteous and even those you just passed in a hallway would always smile and say hello. The cleanliness was good in the rooms and around the hotel. I only noticed an odd smell once lurking... more
I have stayed here twice on business. Great food, free internet connections, but best of all are the husband and wife who own the hotel. They are great hosts and their advice on India was always spot on. Especially for a Westerner this is invaluable. John T. more
The worst hotel we stayed in India. The staff was not friendly at all. When we asked to pay in euros they tried to cheat us in calculating the chage rates... The room was dirty and we had to keep close the bathroom door due to the smell... The resturant is fine even if the service was very slow. more
We have stayed in many different hotels in different countries, however our stay at The Manor hotel is among our favourites, even though we only stayed there for one night. We had a standard room and it was very nice and fashionably furnished. The hotel is located in a high end, very pleasant and quiet part of central Delhi, surrounded... more
There are two branches -- my experience deals with the Khan Market branch where I eat several times a week. I have been to the Vasant Vihar outlet only a couple of times more than a year ago. Khan Market is next to the Ambassador Hotel and walking distance from the Taj Mahal Hotel. The market and Choco La are... more

Great service, the staff is amazing , will take care of everything- Top rate. The room is nice and the decor is classy. The restaurant was great, food was really delicious and the design of the restaurant was striking. The hotel and restaurants are very happening at night with a up-market clientele . Definitely the place to be and be... more
This place is awful. Our convention was held here, and so, in order to avoid the hassle of getting a trustworthy driver every day, we decided to stay here despite the negative reviews. Hotel staff were a little creepy. Our hallway smelled very bad (especially in the mornings). Luckily, most of the smell remained in the hall and did not... more
I'm not used to write reviews, but a review of this B&B encouraged me to contact its owner and proceed with my reservation. And it has been a very good experience. I was in Delhi for a Congress and for 2 days of sightseeing. I had been to india before and I know that 5-star hotels are unaffordable and that... more
My partner and I were shoved into Hotel Blue Sapphire when the other hotel we'd pre-booked with - Hotel Clark International - defaulted on our booking. We'd paid a lot for Hotel Clark, and were expecting good things from the reviews and, whilst we were told the Blue Sapphire was of a similar quality, it blatantly wasn't! It certainly wasn't... more
I stayed in this hotel with 2 colleagues for a week in September. I had read the reviews before hand and I was dreading the experience. We arrived after midnight and the neighbourhood was scattered with garbage and wandering cows. We had a voucher and after just signing the hotel book (no other formalities) we were shown to our rooms... more
Based on readers' suggestions on The New York Times website, I stayed at this this inn in the southern section of Delhi. I could not have picked a better choice, having been on the road for 2 weeks. It was like coming home. The driver picks you up at the airport and takes you to the park-like embassy district. The... more
My first trip to India and found myself immediately comfortable at Ajays place. Eleven Guest House is situated in a quiet neighbourhood which allows you to recover from the noisy city. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Ajay has lots of tips and advices for visitors. Very helpful in any kind of questions and organising further trips in India. Ajays... more
